Concepting

The task was to create a banner with the initials of CB-Beats for a future website / music streaming platform. So I decided in the concepting phase to design a rather wide logo. The classical record on the bottom combined with newer stereotype symbols of the music genre like the headset or the sound levels on the top creates a coherent and satisfactory overall picture which also looks clean and nice in a very small size and in negative space.

Polishing

The finished illustration, accomplished in Adobe Illustrator, was then arranged on a fitting gradient background. Here you can see the final banner.

The colour of the background was chosen to generate a calm and trustful look. Nevertheless I decided to create some playful summer vibe variants of the banner to demonstrate how the logo could look like in a completely different scenario.
